The historical fiction-romance series Bridgerton on Netflix has inspired many wedding couples since the first season release in 2020. With it being a popular inspiration for weddings from 2021 to the present, we couldn’t wait to get started on a Bridgerton-inspired photoshoot! A deeply in love couple enjoying a sunny spring day in a large garden ideal for an intimate wedding setting. That was the vibe on Emma and Patrick’s wedding day.

Emma and Patrick have a heartwarming love story to share. Patrick is Canadian and Emma is from England. It was love at first sight when they met in Montreal! Patrick went to visit Emma on her 30th birthday and proposed, despite the two-continent distance. Emma and Patrick decided to move to Montreal and began their lives together just over two weeks before the photoshoot.

Because of Covid-19 and travel restrictions, the couple decided to have a pre-wedding photoshoot as a way to celebrate their love. They were able to have these stunning Bridgerton-inspired wedding photos, minus the stress of planning a grand romantic wedding during the global pandemic.

The design for their wedding photoshoot was inspired by the elegant, vintage feel of the Manior Chamberland. It is a lovingly-restored heritage property, situated next to a stunning historic church, with a magnificent garden and pool area. The bridal bouquet was finished with silk ribbons to dance in the summer breeze, and the featured florals were seasonal local blooms and foliage. The couple’s wedding attire was also flawless. From Emma’s glamorous garden princess gown to Patrick’s elegantly-cut beige suit with pale pink accents. It was like a Bridgerton couple straight from the show!
